Mr. Brumbaugh built a marketing, Disc Jockey (DJ), event planning, and ticketing company from the ground up. He saw the unnecessary costs charged by ticketing agencies to small businesses and decided to develop a less expensive and small business oriented platform. The convenience fees inhibited small businesses within the Denver Metropolitan region from marketing events and selling tickets. He has sold over 6,000 tickets to date for more than ten businesses.
Mike’s company has transformed marketing and event planning for companies. He has developed a marketing scheme using his online platform and social media reach to sell-out tickets within hours of some events going live. Due to his ability to market and reach an enormous amount of customers, his company has become some companies go-to marketing and ticketing company. In addition, he launched an accompanying DJ and wedding photography services that has made his company a one-stop-shop event and marketing business.
Examples of events include promoting events and selling tickets for comedian Tim Hawkins, A&E’s Duck Dynasty, comedian Michael JR, comedian John Crist, Grammy Artist Francesca Battistelli and others…even events at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater. He sold over 900 tickets and generated $15,000 from the Tim Hawkins event. He sold over 3,000 tickets and generated $60,000 from the Duck Dynasty event. In addition, he has promoted other events for several artists and raised over $160,000 for various schools in Castle Rock, Colorado.
His company sprung out of an opportunity that began with him seeing a need. When in 2011, Douglas County Pilot Ship Program was tied up in courts due to legal matters. He approached the school administrator and explained to her the need for a scholarship program that would help families afford private education. He coordinated with the administrator to host a fundraising event that raised $120,000. His ability to see a need and find a solution has led to a scholarship fund that has aided many financial-strapped families continually to afford private education in Douglas County.
